Meet Amanda

Amanda Jackson I am Amanda Jackson, a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW and Clinical Social Work Intern. After serving in the United States Air Force, I transitioned into a career as a Social Worker. Throughout my career, I’ve had the experience of directing the Social Services departments in several rehabilitation centers. I have continued serving by supporting my community through various aspects in demonstrating my commitment to helping others. I enjoy working with individuals, adolescents, seniors, families, and couples experiencing hardships or wanting support in recognizing maladaptive coping mechanisms and replacing them with healthier, more productive skills.

Using trauma-informed care and person-centered approaches, we will work together to gain introspection and self-awareness, empowering prospective clients to navigate their schema, essential for understanding the world’s complexities and how they influence how we perceive ourselves.

My educational background in interdisciplinary studies, public heath, and social work allows for a diverse technique to understand the various aspects of humanity and mental health.

Some of my hobbies and interests include spending quality time with my family, paying with my Great Danes, traveling, nature hikes, fishing, reading, and anything science fiction related.
