Our Privacy Policy

Working with a therapist at Serenity Counseling and Support Services improves mental health and wellness. Our counselors and therapy providers offer a variety of community based mental health counseling and related services to meet your specific mental health and wellness needs. All personal information is kept strictly confidential as outlined in our privacy policy below.

Who We Are

Our website address is:

Our website doesn’t utilize a comments-feature. As such, your personally identifiable information is not a factor.

Our website doesn’t allow image/media uploads. As such, your personally identifiable information is not a factor.

Cookies are not set for comments as there is no comments feature enabled on our website. In addition, log-ins are not provided for website visitors, so “log-in cookies” are not set.

Embedded Content from Third-Party Websites

Web pages or posts on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from third-party websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

However, we do not embed content from other websites. As such, your personally identifiable information is not a factor.

Who We Share Your Data With

No one. Furthermore, when you submit an appointment request, we ask for very little personally identifiable information to respect your privacy, and obtain only the information we need to provide services. As mentioned on our appointment request form, we ask for your first name and phone number (both are required for us to contact you), and although you are able to include your email address we have left that as an optional form field. The reason the email address form field is optional is because some people use their work email address, and some employers monitor usage of employee email usage.

How Long We Retain Your Data

Comments and user registration are disabled throughout our website. Thus, we do not set cookies in these capacities.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

Comments and user accounts are not active on our website. Thus, we do not maintain any data on you in those capacities. When submitting an appointment request, we ask for your first name, email address and phone number. That information is not retained online. In addition, we do not ask for any personal medical information.

Where We Send Your Data

When submitting an appointment request, the limited data we ask for is transmitted securely from our website to our internal staff, and utilized to respond to your request and schedule an appointment.
