Benefits of Mental Health Counseling & Therapy
About Diana
I am a Clinical Social Work Intern who earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services from University of Phoenix and my Masters degree in Social Work from University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, families, and adults from all backgrounds and I am passionate about incorporating their cultural needs (see: culturally-sensitive approach to mental health) and a holistic approach into practice. I utilize Trauma-Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness when treating victims of abuse, trauma, depression, and anxiety.
I am also experienced working with individuals who are in crisis and want to improve their self-esteem. I believe in fostering a safe-space that is rooted in dignity and where people can grow and become their best selves.
