Benefits of Mental Health Counseling & Therapy
About Olimpia
My name is Olimpia. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at the Autonomous University of Baja California in Mexico. I have been working in the mental health field since 2013. I began as a Basic Skills Trainer and in Psychosocial Rehabilitation simultaneously. In 2016, I transitioned to a role as a case manager until I returned to school to pursue my master’s degree in social work under the trauma-informed practice concentration (see: trauma / PTSD concerns and trauma foxued treatment approach to mental health).
Additionally, I have experience working as a social worker in an inpatient behavioral hospital where I gained experience working with teenagers, adults, elderly, and veterans.
